A Few Other 16 Track Songs from 1986
(deleted scenes from the Boat of Dreams
project)
Elin, What Have We Done - recorded at Studio D in Sausalito in the spring of 1986 with Randy Rand producing, doing the drum track, guitar, and as engineer, with Richard Schoenherz on synthesizer. This was the prototype for Boat of Dreams but was not used.
The following three were done during the Boat of Dreams sessions. See Boat of Dreams page for credits. I think that Appreciation and Having Fun were not mixed down at Studio D and that these recordings are just working mixes Red Davidson did. Appreciation didn't have a click track and we never went back to it cause it would have to be started over. Having Fun was too much like My Poor Finger so we choose that one. All the final vocals for Boat of Dreams were done at Studio D so I think that the silly vocal on Lizzie was done there.
